What is a snail mail club?
A story mail club is a monthly subscription where children receive magical, collectible mail delivered right to their mailbox. Instead of another screen-based activity, each delivery arrives in a real envelope that kids can open, hold, read, color, and look forward to every month.
At Brush & Tale Post, each monthly mailing includes a watercolor-style character card with a short story on the back, a coloring page, and small surprises designed to spark a smile. This will make mail day feel extra special.
The goal is to create a simple monthly tradition families can enjoy together — whether it’s reading the story before bed, coloring at the kitchen table, or watching your child light up when they discover something addressed just to them in the mailbox.
It’s called “snail mail” because it celebrates the joy of real mail — something thoughtful, tangible, and exciting in a world filled with screens and instant notifications.
When will my child get their letter?
We ship each month’s Brush & Tale Post mailing around the 15th of the month. Most families in the United States receive their envelope within 3–8 business days after it ships.
Part of the magic of story mail is the anticipation of waiting for something special to arrive in the mailbox each month. That said, if your envelope seems delayed or you believe there may be an issue with delivery, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always happy to help.
What if I need to cancel or change my address?
Just email us at nicole@brushandtalepost.com and we will end your subscription or change your address!
Make sure to email us before the 10th of the month so we can adjust your address or subscription before sending!
What if I didn't get my letter?
If your Brush & Tale Post doesn’t arrive, email us at nicole@brushandtalepost.com and we’ll make it right—either by resending your letter or refunding you for the month.
Sometimes letters bounce back to us. We usually wait until the end of the month to allow time for any returns, then resend them to you. If all else fails, you’ll receive a refund for that month.
💌 A note on timing: If you sign up before the 10th of the month, you’ll receive that month’s letter. If you sign up after the 10th, your first letter will arrive the following month.
What countries do we ship to?
At this time, Brush & Tale Post only ships within the United States. We hope to expand to additional countries in the future as we grow.
